With nearly 15 years of experience, I’ve dedicated a large part of my time to teaching violin and piano. I began my musical journey in Poland at the age of 7, studying violin in a state music school, and later conservatory, until the age 18. After a brief hiatus, during which I pursued my love of literature and completed a masters degree in Polish language and literature, I rediscovered my passion for music after relocating to London. There I began exploring diverse musical genres, engaging in live performances and forming creative collaborations with fellow musicians and artists. I have been working and performing with many bands and projects.

Music is a natural language of life and a powerful way to connect people. In my work with children, families, educators, and diverse communities, I bring together music, movement, and creativity. Inspired by the Orff-Schulwerk approach, my practice has evolved into a holistic space where rhythm, sound, body, movement, improvisation, and play come together.

Hi, I’m Camila! I am a piano teacher with a passion for the visual arts. I love blending these two worlds to create fun, engaging, and creative musical content that supports student well-being and sparks a lifelong love for music. I graduated from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with a BMus (Hons) in Performance (Piano) and recently completed a Master’s in Music Education at University College London. At the centre of my teaching philosophy is the development of strong musical foundations, the nurturing of creativity, and the belief that music can support students’ lifelong well-being. In my lessons, students are encouraged to think critically about the music they play. To support a deeper understanding, I integrate a variety of activities including singing, reading, aural training, music theory, and technique, using these elements to inform performance and guide students in making thoughtful musical decisions. I also encourage composition and improvisation, giving students opportunities to apply their knowledge creatively and develop their own musical identity. In addition to music, I studied visual arts in Portugal, the equivalent to UK A-level. This background later inspired my undergraduate final project: an illustrated tutor book for children aged 4-7 titled My First Piano Book: A Fun Introduction for Very Young Beginners. I designed and illustrated the entire book, using storytelling and analogies to explain abstract musical concepts and make the learning fun and engaging. The project was awarded a First-Class mark and is now a central part of my teaching. Throughout my career, I have remained dedicated to creating materials tailored to each student's individual needs. I believe a bespoke approach helps unlock a student’s full potential and ensures their musical journey is as rewarding as possible.

I’m a jazz guitarist, composer, and educator working across Europe and the US. I’m currently pursuing a PhD in Creative Practice (Jazz) at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, where my research focuses on counterpoint and polyphony in modern guitar improvisation and composition. With over ten years of teaching experience, I’ve worked with students of all levels—always aiming to create a supportive, tailored, and creatively stimulating learning environment. I hold BA and MA degrees in Jazz Guitar (with top honours) from the Conservatorio J. Tomadini in Udine, and I’ve had the chance to study with some of the most inspiring artists in Europe. As a performer, I’ve led and collaborated in projects across several countries, and in 2024 I released Trust the Process with my trio. My teaching blends technical depth with artistic freedom—helping students discover and develop their unique musical voice.

Hi, I’m Hannah! I’m 26, living in East London as a full time freelance musician/teacher (piano/violin/guitar/ukulele). I have been teaching students from complete beginner - advanced level, and from aged 5 - 60+ for over 5 years. I believe in tailoring my lessons to the individual, helping you to achieve your own personal goals. I am just as happy teaching students who wish to learn for fun as I am teaching those preparing for exams. 100% of my students who have taken exams have received a Merit or Distinction result. During my time at The University of Manchester, where I studied music and received a First Class degree, I specialised in piano, in particular French Impressionist piano music. Hearing my mum play this music when I was growing up was what made me fall in love with the piano! When I am not teaching, I love making music and performing with Indie Pop band Quiet Houses. We are lucky enough to have been on several UK tours, been nominated for BBC Scotland Act of the Year, and have amassed over 6 million streams on Spotify.

Maria is a Spanish guitar tutor and flamenco musician with a lifelong connection to music rooted in her Andalusian heritage. She began playing guitar at the age of seven and received formal training in classical guitar at a conservatoire, where she studied until the age of seventeen. She later completed an MMus in Advanced Musical Studies (Ethnomusicology) at Royal Holloway, University of London, further strengthening her academic and cultural understanding of music. With over a decade of experience teaching guitar since 2015, Maria has worked extensively as a private tutor, offering tailored lessons to students of all levels. Her teaching combines strong technical foundations with a passion for flamenco and Spanish music, while also supporting beginners and those interested in classical guitar. In addition to the guitar, Maria plays a range of other instruments, including pipe and tabor, percussion, and the rubab, reflecting her broad musical versatility and ethnomusicological interests. She also has eight years of experience working with children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), particularly within the autism spectrum, using music as a powerful tool to support communication, social development, and self-confidence. She is currently delivering Spanish lessons to babies through music, using an engaging, early-years approach to language learning. In addition to music education, Maria offers Spanish language learning through conversation and song-based methods, creating an immersive and enjoyable learning experience.

Hi, my name is Michael Rothman. I'm a multi-instrumentalist, music producer and Alexander Technique teacher from Brazil with more than 20 years of musical practice and more than 15 years of music teaching experience in several different settings. I play drum kit, transverse flute, saxophone, percussion, as well as some piano, guitar and bass. I came to England in 2015 to study to become a teacher of the Alexander Technique, which gives me a different perspective on musical education with a great understanding of instrument technique and how to learn any instrument without strain or effort. Focusing on our thinking process and emotional expression, I’m always looking for enjoyment and purpose in my students' practice. Having studied with big names of Brazilian Jazz in Rio de Janeiro to deeply understand instrumental music, having played with award-winning groups in Brazil, playing over all Europe and Brazil as a session musician, from recording, mixing and composing my own album, I have a wide range of knowledge to pass ahead. I’m extremely happy to be able to influence people's lives with my knowledge of music and passion for music practice.

I’m a passionate and experienced music teacher offering lessons in guitar, ukulele, voice, and songwriting. My approach is warm, encouraging, and tailored to each student, whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time or looking to grow in confidence and creativity. I love helping students build strong foundations in technique while also making space for self-expression, musicality, and enjoyment. Alongside learning songs and developing skills, I encourage students to explore their own voice and creativity through songwriting and performance. My aim is always to make lessons inspiring, supportive, and enjoyable, helping each student grow at their own pace.

I am an Italian singer, performer, director, and voice specialist working at the intersection of performance, neuroscience, and embodied practice. My work is rooted in my experience as a performing artist and developed through years of research into the voice, perception, and wellbeing. As a singer and director across opera and musical theatre, my artistic practice informs all of my teaching, grounding it in the real-world demands of rehearsals and professional life. I hold degrees from the Conservatorio di Mantova, the Royal Academy of Music, and an MSc in Music and Neuroscience from Goldsmiths, with advanced training in vocal pedagogy and the Melofonetica Method. I currently teach at leading UK institutions and coach singers and performers internationally. Beyond the studio, my 2023 Artist residency at Brunel University and curation of an international exhibition at the OXO Tower allowed me to bring together artistic research and multisensory practice, resulting in presenting my first peer reviewed paper at Oxford University. I am the creator of the Embodied Voice & Perception Method©, a personalised approach to voice training grounded in neuroscience. The method helps singers and performers develop technical clarity and expressive freedom while fostering a sustainable, healthy relationship with their voice. Ultimately, I believe the voice is more than just a technical instrument—it is a site of identity, perception, and embodied knowledge.

I am an experienced professional musician and dedicated music educator with over 15 years of teaching experience in violin, piano & singing, working with students of different ages. Alongside a freelance performing career, I’ve built a teaching practice focused on nurturing creativity, building confidence, and fostering a lifelong love of music. I tailor lessons to each student’s learning style and have developed a strong local music community through regular lessons, ensemble work, and regular performances. I’m proud to have supported many students in achieving excellent results, with a 100% success rate in ABRSM exams, while always aiming to keep the learning process inspiring and enjoyable. As a performer, I bring real-world experience into my teaching. I’ve played and sung at venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Barbican, and Abbey Road Studios, and performed internationally and across a diverse range of genres. Whether working on classical repertoire, songwriting, music production or ensemble performance, I enjoy helping young musicians make meaningful and personal connections with music.
