About This Class
Learning to sing or play the same instrument in a small group is a fun and motivating way for children in Year 1+ to grow musically. At Music Tree, children can explore piano, ukulele/guitar, violin, drums, flute, or singing in a supportive and engaging environment. Group learning helps children build confidence, make friends, and develop important musical skills such as listening, rhythm, coordination, music reading, and ensemble playing. Our small groups allow for personalised attention while also giving students the energy and joy of making music together. Lessons are tailored to each group’s level and include playful activities, technical foundations, and songs to help children feel confident and connected to their chosen instrument.

About This Class
At Music Tree, our classes for children aged 2.5 to Reception are deeply child-led, creative, and collaborative. We believe young children learn music best when they are free to explore, imagine, move, and actively shape the class together with the teacher. Through singing, movement, musical games, and instrumental exploration, we nurture each child’s musicality while also supporting important skills such as attention, listening, coordination, and executive function. Everything takes place in a fun, positive, and respectful environment where each child’s pace of development is honoured. Our goal is to build strong musical foundations while helping children grow in confidence, expression, and connection with others.
